Grow a Banana Tree Without a Garden
Although you may believe that in order to grow a banana tree, you would have to live near the equator, the truth is that these beautiful trees are able to grow in almost any weather, and they can actually grow entirely indoors. The idea of being able to grow a banana tree in your own house, condo, or apartment may seem odd to you, but more and more people are choosing to grow this plant indoors.
Some fruit trees are very difficult to grow and require just the right weather, but the banana tree is a very hearty plant and one that doesn’t need tropical weather to thrive. The only word of caution is that if you live in an area that freezes, even if it is overnight, then you will want to bring your plant indoors or at least cover it. Many people simply choose to make banana trees their indoor plants instead, but you can also choose to move them indoors and out.
These are easy plants to take care of, they don’t grow to enormous heights, and a mid-sized pot should be enough to hold them. They require little more than just watering and the occasional fertilization, and they will provide bananas for years to come.
